No good book has ever been written that has in it symbols arrived at beforehand and stuck in. That kind of symbol sticks out like raisins in raisin bread. Raisin bread is all right, but plain bread is better.

This has popped up in a few places.. and I like it lots. Sometimes I find myself doing wee things.. liked editing a particular photo, or having a particular photo as a blog header, playing a particular piece of music… or even expressing a certain opionion before i have really completely analyzed it it extremely throroughly, or making a sort of metaphor-comment about something which surprisingly ends up meaning more than i expected too.. things which if i’d intentionally thought about to do or perform would be a bit raisiny.. but i like that kind of unexpected discovered meaning..
