For all those who are still fighting with this problem (I did for several days), you need to make a firmware update to version 1.0.9. This solves the problem. It is neither a problem of Aperture nor of OS X. For the update go to http://web.canon.jp/imaging/eosd/firm-e/eosdigital4/firmware.html.

Hi

This looks good, but does not affect Aperture 2.1, in that I have this downloaded, running 10.5.4, fully up to date, and still get 'Unsupported inage format' for cr2 files, and the dreaded red screen. I can't fnd any other instructions. can anyone help please?
